House Study Groups Meet during the week commencing 3rd Monday of each Month
Bible Study Each Wednesday at 10:30am
Autumn Leaves is Glenburn’s Senior Citizens Group who meet in the Basement (over in the main halls) on alternate Wednesday afternoons at 2.30pm. There are over 50 members in the Group and we keep in regular touch with our members especially those who are unwell.
We have a variety of speakers and also have musical afternoons with singers and choirs. We always share a few jokes to give us a laugh. We end our meetings with refreshments and a chat. Many friendships have been formed through Autumn Leaves and we trust and pray that we are all truly blessed by meeting together.
At the end of May, we have a bus run and meal to finish our year’s programme.
Any senior citizen is most welcome to come along to any of the meetings.

MAD (Methodist Amateur Dramatics)
MAD was formed by and made up of members from Glenburn Methodist Church. Our first instalment was in 2007 where we produced an evening of musical drama as a means to engage the creative ability of our church members of all ages and abilities. We now perform and put on several evenings of musical drama (rather than dramatic music) on an annual basis with a big emphasis on fun. Our preference is for a musical show which we will intertwine with humour, we find this helps to deflect from the lack of musical, singing and acting ability. As the adage goes – you don’t have to be mad to work here, but it sure helps!
The money raised from the performances goes toward church, outreach and mission projects.
If you would like further information either contact Jacqui Busby, use the Contact Us button above or send us an email at email@example.com
